FESCO New Connection Application Form and Step-by-Step Procedure
The online system has facilitated FESCO consumers to acquire a new electricity connection by following simple steps. Now, you don’t need to frequently visit FESCO Customer Care Center to request or know the proceeding of your application. Rather, you can apply for a new meter as well as track FESCO new connection status online with a few clicks. Below is the step-by-step procedure to download FESCO new connection form online and the complete procedure. So, let’s have a look!
- FESCO consumers can download the application form from the official website at http://fesco.com.pk/ or Visit the ‘Electricity New Connection’ Online Portal at http://www.enc.com.pk/.
- Multiple options are available on the left side of the display, including ‘Online Application, Change of Connection Name, Print form/ Demand Notice (DN), Pay and Upload Demand Notice.’ You can choose the option as per your requirement.
- Click the ‘Apply’ tab to open an online form, where you will provide your Neighbor’s Reference Number, Distribution Company (FESCO), Category Type (Load Requirement), and Subdivision.
- After completing this online form, another comprehensive New Connection Application form will appear on the screen. There’re 5 sections of this online new meter connection form comprising the Applicant’s particulars, Contact information, Details of the premises, and required documents.
1- Fill the Applicant’s Particulars’ Section
Choose the Connection type per your need, such as Domestic, Commercial, Agricultural, Industrial, etc. Next, enter your name, CNIC, Address, Mobile Number, and Father/Husband’s name. Select Landlord/Owner if you are a real property owner and Tenant if you need a new electricity connection on a Rent property.
2- Contact Person Information
Next, you will add the Contact Person Information, i.e., the person other than the applicant to be contacted. In this section, you will provide the contact person’s name, mobile number, Email, and present address.
3- Premises Detail
In the last, add the details about the number of meters already installed in that location, minimum load, and address of the premises.
4- Upload Documents
Upload the required documents in JPG or PDF, with an image size of 300KB. The documents include Property Ownership, Attested copies of the CNIC of the applicant and the Witness, the Neighbor’s duplicate FESCO bill copy, and the Wiring Contractor’s Test Report.
5- Terms and Conditions
Read the ‘Terms and Conditions’ section of the DISCO written at the end of the application form and press the ‘Agree’ icon. Fill in the Captcha field and submit the FESCO online Application Form.
FESCO New Connection Tracking
After completing the application form, applicants receive a FESCO new connection application tracking number. You can use this tracking I’d later to track your application proceedings. Follow the below-mentioned quick and easy steps to track your online FESCO new connection application:
- Apply the ‘Track’ tab displayed on the ENC Portal. Two options will be displayed on the screen to depict whether you’re applying for a FESCO New Connection’ or ‘Change of Name/ Tariff/Load. Choose the first option to track your meter connection application.
- Select ‘FESCO’ as your Electricity Distribution Company from the drop-down menu and enter your Tracking I’d or CNIC.
- Your application status will be displayed on the screen showing the estimated time frame or workflow required to complete the installation process.
New Connection Application Procedure in Urdu
Documents Required for Residential Connections
- Attested copies of the CNIC of the applicant and Witnesses
- Ownership Certificate
- Affidavit by the owner on non-judicial stamp paper
- Applicant’s Undertaking
- NOC for tenant ownership
Documents Required for the Commercial Connections
- Attested copies of the CNIC of the directors.
- The ‘Charge Creation Certificate’, issued by the SECP (Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan).
- An ‘Incorporation Certificate’ for private limited companies.
- Sitemap where the new connection will be installed.
- Power of attorney in case of more than one owner of the property.
- The NOC on the company letterhead.
Issuance of ENC Demand Notice
The FESCO ENC team will evaluate your application and enlist the requirements for installing a new meter, such as conductors, service lines, and other supplies. Within 15 days of receiving your application, ENC will provide you with a Demand Notice.
Procedure to Download or Print FESCO Demand Notice
If your application tracking shows the status of your application as ‘Completed or Pay Demand Notice,’ then you will download or print the form by the below-mentioned simple steps:
- Again visit the ENC Portal’s Homepage, carrying all the available options and click the ‘Print DN (Demand Notice)’ option.
- Choose your application type as ‘New Connection’ and enter your Tracking I’d or CNIC. The download or print options will be displayed along with the Demand Notice. Click on the required field, i.e., the ‘Download’ or ‘Print’ option.
- Submit the FESCO Demand Notice fee in the nearest bank or online within the due date and upload the scanned DN in the ENC Portal for further action.
FESCO New Meter Connection Fee 2023
The FESCO New Connection Demand Notice fee depends on fixed and variable charges for a new electricity connection. Usually, it depends on the connection type, i.e., single or 3-phase connection and the length of the service line. Submitting the Demand Notice through ENC involves a few simple steps described below:
- Click the ‘Upload DN’ tab on the ENC Portal’s display. Choose the new connection option and enter your Tracking Number or CNIC in the input fields.
